What to watch for
The quiet signs of burnout
Burnout rarely arrives all at once. It builds from ordinary days that each take a little more than they give back: fatigue that does not lift, low energy by mid-afternoon, tired eyes, tension headaches, and no capacity left once you log off.
The encouraging part: the same small habits that cause the slow drain can reverse it. Regular breaks, movement, eye rest, and water, spread through the day, keep the tank from emptying in the first place.
On recognising and addressing job burnout, see the Mayo Clinic.
